PATCH TESTING

All treatments (excluding Brow Wax), require a patch test to be conducted prior to a treatment being carried out.

This is applicable for;

- all new clients

- clients who have not had a treatment within the last 6 months for LVL Lash Lifts, HD Brows, HD Brows BrowSculpt, HD Brows Lightening or a Brow Tint

- clients who have not had a treatment within the last 12 months for Lash Extensions
 or Microblading

- any clients that have had any changes to their medical history since their last treatment (for example, medications, health conditions, etc.)

Patch tests are available by appointment only and will be arranged after a treatment has been booked.

Please allow enough time for this to be scheduled and carried out within the appropriate time frame prior to a treatment when you are booking your appointment.

After booking a treatment, please respond promptly to requests to arrange a patch test. Failure to do so, may result in your appointment being cancelled and our standard Booking & Cancellation Policy will be applicable in regards to any deposits paid.

PATCH TEST PROCESS

Microblading / LVL Lash Lifts / HD Brows / HD Brow Sculpt / Brow Tints
The relevant product(s) will be applied to your upper, inner arm, above your elbow. This will be covered with Micropore Tape.

The patch test area must remain dry and covered with the tape for a period of;
- 48 hours for LVL Lash Lifts, HD Brows
, HD Brow Sculpt and Brow Tints
- 24 hours for Microblading

Lash Extensions

A small number of lash extensions will be applied to each eye and must not be removed for a 24 hour period.

PATCH TEST RESULTS

When you attend your treatment, you will be required to confirm that you have had no reaction to the patch test conducted.

After the appropriate time frame has elapsed for your patch test, you will be required to remove the tape and thoroughly check the area that the product has been applied to for any changes or signs of irritation/reaction.
If you are unsure or in any doubt as to whether or not there has been a reaction, you must contact Creative Lash & Beauty as soon as possible to discuss this.
